Default Question about Branded PSU's and AVRs...

    Hi guys...

I am planning on ordering a rig with a Corsair 750w PSU...now the question is, is a Generic AVR (that worth about P450) ok for my computer?

Another question: If my rig has a branded and quality PSU (like Corsair) should I bother with AVRs? Or can I just ignore the quality of the AVR altogether?

    Thanks in advance.

Actually as long as you have a decent PSU especially HEC you should have peace of mind. AVR is very useful coz it will provide consistent electric output to your PC but better get UPS instead it has protection and backup power. For me AVR are just the same as AVR, generic or branded is common and the have the same. If you would ask AVR over UPS I would suggest to get UPS than AVR and when you buy UPS be sure it has builtin AVR as well.

Me for the maintime, Im using AVR right now and its working well.

ako gamit nko kay avr plus ups pero tabla ra wala kay wa ko nag plug ug battery sa car para sa ups mahal ra kaau nya di worth it para nako.

if you have some reasons to buy this one and have some money better buy a ups.

BARATOHON nga avr are useless. ang gamit ra ana nila is to provide extra outlets and a power switch.

as you noticed, sa AC cord nalang daan pwerteng humuka and sa sulod pwerteng gamaya ug wire. how much more sa iyang physical size pwerteng gamaya.

try to compare it sa mas mahal2x nga avr, ang 500Watts dagko jud 3 times ang size.

if you are going to buy AVR, Look for servo type kay maka provide jud na sa iyang purpose. Ayaw nang Relay type.

if you plan to buy AVR nga baratuhon, better buy wire extension nga naay daghan outlet nya naay switch.

AVR is very useful if dili stable ang supply kuryente sa inyo place.

dont bother buy the 450 peso AVR. much much better if u can get UPS para naay back up supply.
