Description of Shoujo-ai or Yuri

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie here so I'm not sure if this topic exists. I tried using the search feature but I get an error from google. So anyways...

Most people categorize light girl to girl romance as shoujo-ai and yuri for more mature context. But actually I think pareha ra sila.

I am a shoujo-ai/yuri fan, I wonder if naa sad interested ani na genre sa manga/anime.

I'm noticing a trend in mainstream anime/manga now. There seems to be a lot more yuri/shoujo-ai elements in them (not necessarily the focal point). I just remember a time when it was very rare and now just about every new series has elements of this in them. Not complaining. :3

Hm.. yeah there are, but mostly subtext or canon. Even anime/manga not labeled as shoujo-ai/yuri is treated as one if one of the main characters have those hints hints. lol Some are for fan service (catered for male viewers).

There aren't much shoujo-ai genres as of now, but compared with the past years, it's better. The genre is growing in Japan now. Not much outside (manga sales), I can't find it in stores. T_T Does anyone know a store that sells shoujo-ai mangas here in Cebu/Manila? X3

I'm also fond of those not quite shoujo-ai focusing but still apparent.

Like Shoujo Kakumei Utena. It has hints and implied shoujo-ai between at least 2 pairs there.
