how to produce independent artists/bands/music and sell to the market?

i've searched the forum and wala pakoy nakit-an nga thread about this...

just wanna learn kung unsaon pag-produce ug music (esp sa cebu...)
like do you need to register sa sec? or how do you sell the cd's sa mga record stores?
how do you get copyrights? etc...

the manager should think like the band thinks..
sensitive sa bands needs..
dapat kabalo ka mu atubang og tawo and mag storya..
being the manager is the most coolest thing coz you met a lot of people
whom are great and average..the thing is kung ala kay charisma para ma
promote nimo ang band na imong gi-handle wala lang gihapon..

bookings, negotiations..grabeh ang trabaho sa manager..

dili nimo e sell ang music sa banda kundi unsaon nimo econvince ang
mga masa na maminaw sa tugtog sa imong gina promotan. thats why
i said na the biggest plus a manager can have is charm.

BTW, getting a lawyer that knows music and is sensitive to musicians is a plus
to know your copyright rights.

sa akong nahibaw-an, bale mao na cyay mo protect and guide sa inyo in terms sa dealings sa mga shows, concerts, production, producers, etc, mao moy mopangga sa inyo. kailangan kabalo og PR. he/she must know asa iyang limitations about money, decision making, personal life, etc.
