    Default PLS PLS HELP!! URGENT. about McAfee

    awhile ago i was scanning my pc using mcafee. after it scanned the pc, out of stupidity without even knowing what it would do, i checked all the files that were quarantined and then i clicked restore. when i checked drive C, some file weren't there anymore. most especially the important files of my mom. in short, after i clicked restore everything went missing. now my mom is so mad at me for having deleted her files. now i want to return the files that went missing but i dont know how. i checked the recent activities that has happened in mcafee but there were no records of the "restoring file" that i mistakenly did. there is also no UNDO or retrieve files in mcafee. i was so stupid. i thought "restore button" was to restore the files that were affected by the virus.

    HOW do i retrieve the quarantined files that has been restored (lost) by mcafee?

    PLS HELP! my mom is so mad. im so dead.

    based on your explanation murag na restore nimo ang mga virus nga naka quarantine, so basin naka hide rana imo mga files nga imo giingon missing, try daw ug show hidden files sa imo folder options kung makita ba.

    usually ang mga virus krn, imo mga files/folder ilisan ug .exe na file/folder
    then imo mga orig files ila i-hide nya sometimes himoon pa jud ug system file.

    para ma kita to nimo go to drive c:
    click tools
    ---> Folder Option
    ----->View
    --------->Click Show Hidden Files and Folder
    --------->Uncheck Hide Extentions

    Hope it helps.

    if that's the case try using a data recovery tool instead, maybe the files have been deleted, and be sure to run a deep scan to be sure

    best thing to do if naka super hide, scan lng sa ug anti virus after scan restar imo pc(para ang virus na naa sa memory ma wala pud).

    if maau na class imo anti virus ma tangtang to niya ang virus na ga disable sa imo tools.

    then folow k2 aq g write sa taas.

    if u want to check lng kng naa pa ba imong mga files bisan naa pa ang virus.
    go to cmd then type attrib + the path of ur file.

    example:
    attrib "C:\Program Files\ then press tab(ka daghan hantod ma kitan nimo ang file na imo gs2.)

    NOTE: .exe files/folder ky mao ang gcreate sa virus na file/folder.
