It seems nowadays as though most new releases are console ports of games which seemed to have been designed primarily for XBOX 360 or PS3. I know developers like Crytek have moved away from PC as they consider console games to be less at risk of piracy, but it's kind of annoying when you've got a hardcore graphics card and the only game that will push it is... Crysis!

From a business point of view, it is the most logical choice. Only a handful of people have high PC setups. If they stick to creating high end PC games gamay jud ilang profit ana or basin malugi pa gani. If they create a game for PC, dile sure na tanan PC maka support ato na game. Compared to PS3, sure jud na tanan PS3 units maka play sa ato na game hehe.

I hope not...console gaming is really not for me...mag lisud ko gamit anang controller...but if a particular console(PS3 unta) maka gamit na ug mouse and keyboard, i will definitely buy that console...

I used to own an XBOX 360 and I enjoyed it immensely (especially Gears of War), but would much rather play a first-person shooter with a mouse and keyboard. In terms of eye-candy I like a fun game that makes me go WOW...that looks, erm... real!
Hopefully developers will make more of an effort with porting and up-scalability so that these popular new titles are not so buggy (see Dead Space & Prototype) and can shine a little brighter with the right hardware.

Naa man USB ports/slot ang PS3 so pwede jud ni mapaslakan ug keyboard and mouse. Ang question is if ma detect/support ba sa PS3 hehe

mao jud btaw naka bantay ko na ala naman kaau games nangawas na pc platform.. nya sayang kaau atoang high end na mga rig kai ang madagan lang perme kai crysis etc.. nusa pa kaha mo gawas ang diablo 3 ug starcraft 2 uyyy! paitta
