    Question GeForce 9800 GT 1gb ddr3 256bit or HD4730 512mb ddr5 128bit?

Please suggest which one to buy for the current Heroes of Newerth game and the future Starcraft2 and Diablo 3 games. Price difference between both is around 1k. Thanks

The HD4730 is faster,...but try to think of it. Compare the HD4730 vs the HD 4770. You'll see based on the specs that the the HD4730 is clocked faster, but it is slower than the HD4770 in all gaming scenarios. Mura ra siya gi bastax2 lang ug release sa ATI just to fill-in the holes left due to the shortage of the HD 4770's. Also, the HD4730 is a power hog. It requires two external power connectors kay nibalik siya ug 55nm. I would go for the 9800GT simply because I think the HD4730 is a messed up card. It's performance just couldn't match up to the amount of power it sucks up. It consumes as much power as an HD4870 which is almost twice as fast. But that's just me. If power consumption doesn't bother you, then go for the HD4730.

9800GT will have problems with diablo 3 and starcraft2 tungod sa dx 10.1... wala na sa 9800GT, and diablo 3... as far as i know, would require atleast dx10.1

I don't think Blizzard is stupid enough to do that. Heck, all nvidia cards at the moment is still dx 10. It will be as if they're saying, ditch your gtx 295's to play our games, unless they're planning a worldwide anti-nvidia campaign.
