Default The Positive Effects of Meditation.

Meditation is an ancient art. It can be use in so many ways. But its ultimate objective is Self-Discovery.

    Who am I ?

Are we really the man we see daily in the mirror? A time will come that you are going to leave that body, when that time comes do you cease to exist or will you live forever?

Meditation can lead you to your journey towards Self-Discovery

This is a thread for any discussion about the different disciplines of Meditation.

One of the most important positive effects of meditation is how it releases stress from our bodies. Meditation practiced regularly will lead you to a deeper level of relaxation and contemplation. If you want to be free of constant worry, pressure and stress the positive effects of meditation can give you a life that is calm, peaceful, happy and relaxed.
Even ten minutes of meditation a day will help alleviate stress.

Some of the positive effects of meditation are:-

Reduces anxiety attacks as it lowers the levels of blood lactate.

    Builds self confidence.

Increases serotonin which influences moods and behaviour. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression, headaches and insomnia.

    Enhances energy, strength and vigour.

    Helps keep blood pressure normal

    Reduces stress and tension

Creates a state of deep relaxation and general feeling of wellbeing

    Helps with P.M.T.

Increases concentration and strengthens the mind

    Helps reduce heart disease

these are the physical benefits of meditation.

when meditating you have to clear your mind so mo pili gyud ka lugar og saktong panahon na dili ka ma samok
silent ang fon or unsa man gani

You need to have an alert mind to enable you to enjoy this new experience so you
need to be free of alcohol or non prescribed drugs for at least 24 hours.
Wait 2 hours after a full meal or 1 hour after a snack or caffeine drink before
    meditating.
If you smoke, it is better to wait 30 minutes before meditating.
Never meditate with a sweet or anything in your mouth because you intend to go
into a deep relaxing state similar to sleep.
Never over meditate – just as physical exercise is good for you it is important to
build up gradually. When you meditate you release backlogs of tension and if you
meditate too long you can release tension too fast for you to cope with.
Always leave 3 to 4 hours between meditation sessions.
