Girl mature faster than boys because girls start puberty earlier than boys. Girls start puberty as early as 6 or 7, while boys start as early as 9. That is already a 2-3 year advantage girls have on boys for maturing faster. The average age for girls to start puberty is 11 years old and the average age for boys is 12. Girls are physically mature by age 14 and boys physically mature by age 15 or 16. Since girls physically mature this causes them to mature in all aspects.
