17" AOC Flat Monitor???

My cousin bought a 17" AOC Flat Monitor to upgrade his 15" AOC monitor. Then suddenly when boot up, only boot up screen and Win XP loader will come out and when it enters the Windows the Monitor power automatically shuts off (turns the monitor led lights to Orange).

Can somebody help me solve this problem or there is a problem with the Monitor? We've tested it from PCXpress and oks man siya.

Looks like the screen refresh rate is too high. Before WinXP boots up, keep hitting on the F8 key, then choose 'Enable VGA mode'. After booting to Windows (in VGA mode), change the monitor refresh rate to 60Hz. Restart PC and boot to Windows normally.

sakto ka bai cuz dili ka sakar ang AOC 17" Flat up to 85 hrtz hehehe. My cousin brought it to PCX ganiha pa lang gyud kay hot na siya mo gamit. They change it to 60hrtz nalang from 85hrtz pero karon oks na.
