If you intend to play minor games such as kiddies and online gaming, XP will still do the job.

its all of them, not unless you are into over clocking thing then you can get out most of your RAMS using 64bit OS

most game platforms still and will support already the win XP SP2 platform.. so better use the tried and tested platform nalang.. instead of venturing and testing and finding your game might not work in the long run on an unsupported platform...
