Problem: Nero don't detect my burning CD/DVD RW

fellow istoryans, kindly help me with my prob.

Before I didn't have a problem burning videos using Nero 8, but now, when i try to burn something. It no longer detects my SONY DVD RW DRU-810A. But the option of an image burner is available. But I could play DVD's in my DVD RW, so I don't think it's been disconnected or somethin. The device manager states that it's working properly.

Please I need help.

you better use the NTI Media Maker 8 it has more features than Nero 8 has and is even faster in burning cds and dvds. Try to download it and enjoy the features, it will resolve your detection problem.

try to look at ur my computer then if there is dvd or cd image ok imong optical disk kai sagaran ingun ana lose contact ide or sata .... then try re install ur nero... before u re install nero clean up ur C: drive first bcoz some registry will not erase totally...

the problem is, dili siya mo appear sa list of recorder. image recorder ra ang mo appear. when i tried to access the Cd/DVD, it seems to be OK, mo read and mo play man siya. but with nero dili mo appear ako recorder.
