How to get Skyfire

how to download and use skyfire?

[NOTE: for symbian os only, s60v3... (series 60 3rd edition)]

just follow my tutorial!

(tut for smybian only)

first, configure your phone!

make a new apn at phone settings>connection>destination>select internet>




then make new access point>auto check for avilable access point>click ok>select detected new apn




then name it [ http.globe.com.ph ] > click ok




edit the apn you've created>rename it>




make sure to make it "normal" instead of "secure"




goto advance settings>proxy add>type in your "working proxy" and port>exit

[how to dl skyfire?]


goto your default browser>settings>general




then change the default apn to always ask




then make new bookmark [ph.m.yahoo.com.t9space.com/power/skyfire/http/m.skyfire.com.ph and save it





click that bookmark>select the apn you've created




now your on the wapsite of skyfire>select symbian if your phone is symbian>click download




it will prompt you to save the file and wait til its done




then install it in your memorycard and after installation exit your default browser>

[how to use skyfire for "FREE"?]

now before you open skyfire make sure you don't have any other applications running.


open skyfire>it will prompt you what apn to use>choose the apn you've created>




just wait til you will be connected>




[NOTES:if connection failed,just click ok to exit, press and hold to END PACKET DATA CONNECTION, then start skyfire again.]
