mao lagi mga abays... nakuha nako ni sa pug dog club of the phils website... and i was amazed on how they value the policy nga if your dog is "pet quality" only, do not breed.. coz it wont contribute to the improvement of the breed. it is always for the improvement of the breed. such an admirable vision.

pero i cant help na maluoy sa pet quality dogs. . hehehe. . . na murag wala tagai chance ang pet quality to be a mother/father. . murad dli ma fulfilled ilang life. . .heheh opinion ra ni ha. . .

pero if all people would follow this flow chart. . in 2 decades time i think wala na mongrels and stray dogs dri. . nya tanan dogs purebred na. .wow.

very less nasad ang dogs. kay if i am to ask; this would fall around 85-90% of dogs wont qualify if this is strictly implemented.

mao sad prob ani, here in cebu wala man mo hip certify or certify for genetic disease. with GSD's, even in manila there is no certified dr to this certification. ambot lang ha, non that i know.

usa sad ani. . if less na ang dogs. . then children will have a lesser chance to own a puppy. .kay kasagaran dogs puro na champions and hall of famers so expensive na kaayo for a child. . .

basin mawala na ang man's best friend na concept kay dli na maka afford ug own ug dog ang usa ka pobre na tao. . IMO.

pero as wat bro ironwood stated. . u cant deny that this is a really admirable vision to protect the breed.

i think this flowchart is advisable and what quality breeders should follow if they want to state that their stocks or products from their kennels are out of "quality".

i for instance dont follow this flowchart strictly. not all of my dogs are qualified if this is strictly implemented(without the physical and gene certifications). hence if i'll adhere to this religiously; malooy sad ko sa females nako nga dili maka tilaw the "joys of damhood"(joy of motherhood). if i know that the breeding pair is not of quality(one or both); obviuously i'll tell my future buyers/adopter what are the faults of the parent/s if any.

istriktuha bitaw kaayo ning ila breedchart... realistically lisud gyud ni ipatuman, esp. in a scenario such as the phils.

but pwede guro ni i-implement sa legitimate breeders. breeders (those who sell with papers, at least) should adhere tingali para kato mga mamalitay, maka assure more or less sa "quality" sa ila paliton nga pup. nga ang pup/dog nga ila gipalit are in accordance to the breed standards.
