The InTourPreneur 2006 is a 3 in 1 event that promotes ICT lnformation Communication Technology) Tourism , and SME (Small and Medium Enterprise). It is one of the ma)or events during the Cebu Business Month (CBM).It entails an exhibition and conference that will highlight Cebu's vibrant growth, opportunities, technological and commercial aspects that makes Cebu a catalyst and a gateway for investment.
The Cebu Web Awarda (Open and interschool Competition) is one of the foremost attraction of the show. It is a competition that will award multi-talented and deserving students and professional web developers.I T
he contest will be on June 21-22-23. 2006 at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City. Below are the different
categories and its corresponding prizes:
I. Multi-Media Awards
Best ln Multi-Media -Php 15,000 + Trophy
Best in Anlmation - Php 10,000 + Trophy
II. Best Website
Commercial Category - Php 15,000 + Trophy
LGU/ E-Governance Category - Php 15,000 + Trophy
Organizations / Schoots - Php 15,000 + Trophy
Open Category - Php 15,000 + Trophy
III Web Olympics (On-the spot website creation)
A. High Shool Category 1st - Php 10,000 + Trophy
2nd -Php 5,000 + Trophy
3rd - Php 3,000+ Trophy
B. College Category 1st - Php 10,000 + Trophy
2nd -Php 5,000 + Trophy
C. Open/ Freelancer Category 1st - Php 10,000 + Trophy

In lieu of this, we request you to send participants to show what young Cebuanos are good at. Attached is an application form, event briefer, and posters that contains comprehensive information about the contest categories and criteria.

>Multi Media Awards
• Entry shall carry the theme "INVEST CEBU" (NEW!)
• Entry should be non-interactive
• Maximum playtime of not-more than five (5) minutes (NEW!)
• Participant can submit her/his existing work but not a previous entry.
• Should be submitted in property labeled CD/diskette form;
• Shall all havc the elements of multi-media (audio, video, animation, 3D)
• Sball pay Three Hundred Pesos (300.00) non-refundable upon registration (NEW!)
> Web Olympics (on-the-spot website dev't.)
• Specific Rules:
• Contestants will design a website in a specified theme;
• Contest shall be done simultaneusly for 2 days;
• Participants shall be given 2 days to finish the work Websites will be prepared on-site;
• Contesrants will be provided with the necessary tools (pc, licensed software, graphic & textual materials) to develop the website;
• Shall pay Two Hundred Pesos (200.00) non-refundable upon registration (NEW!)
• Participants shall submit a portifolio of existing work except the open category

• Participants, may submit his/her entry in any of the 4 sub categories The entries will be judged on-site;
• May submit his/her existing work.

♦ Corporate/Commercial Php 15.000.00 + Trophy
• Sites that provide iformation about the company including its portfolio, products and services.
• It also includes sites of Small & MediumEnterprises (
• Information may be about the proprietor, company, products, and services.
• Sites that focus on selling products or providing services on-line are excluded
♦ LGU/ e-Governance Php 15,000 00 + Trophy
• Sites that are related to government-services, including access to on-line services provided by the government and those that disseminate government information.
• May include sites of government departments and agencies, and local government units,
• Sites of political candidates are excluded;
♦ Organization/Schools Php 15,000.00 + Trophy
• Information that dwells in creating awareness, its vision, mission, objectives, membersbip information and project and programa,
• Groups that belong to this category are the following:
* Non-profit organizations/ religious groups
• Schools and universities, educational institutions
* School organizations, alumni associations, fraternities, sororities
* Churches, civic groups, sports clubs
• Civil society groups, foundations, NGOs, political and religious movements
• Stand alone e-learning sites are excluded
♦ Others/Open Php 15,000.00 + Trophy

General Rules
> Acceptable proof of identity are the following: Photocopy of birth or marriage certificate, passport, company ID or school ID;
> A participant may join all of the four major categories but shall submit only one (1) entry per category of the contest (NEW!)
> The organizers shall collect an amount of Three Hundred Pesos (Php 300.00) per entry for the Best Multi Media, Best in Animation, Best Website entry and Open Category of the Web Olympics. Two Hundred Pesos (Php 200.00) shall be collected for the Web Olympics both High School and College category (non-refundable); (NEW!)
> All contestants shall hold the organizers free of all liabilities arising out of any dispute relating directly or indirectly to any intellectual property claims, the use of scripts, images, graphics and other copyrighted materials;
> The contestants authorizes the organizers to use whatever legal means to ascertain the authenticity of any or all information submitted;
> All the electronics forms used shall carry the force of actual printed documents consistent with the provision of electronics commerce law;
> Entries for Corporate/Commercial, LGU/E-Governance, Organizations/Schools must be developed or designed in Cebu except for the Open Category which is open to all qualified entries outside of Cebu;
> The decision of the Board shall be final and binding;
> The orgarizers have the right to issue additional rules when these are deemed necessary;
> Winning entries from previous contest and awards shall not be accepted as entry.
