difference between one sided memory module from double sided

ok raba e-dungan og butang ang 256mb pc333 nga one sided sa 512mb pc 333 nga double sided sa motherboard? unsay difference sa ilang duha? ang brand sa 256 kay PCI; kingston ang saa 512 pero pareha sila pc333 pero double sided ang 512mb....

they are of different sizes and therefore cannot be installed side by side unless your motherboard has two memory banks. place one memory on one bank and on the other. Read your mobo's manual on the bank assignments.

ie. if your mobo has 4 slots. the first 2 is usually bank 0 and the 2nd pair is bank 1. You can install the 512mb on bank 0 and 256 on bank 1. However, both memories cannot occupy the same bank because they are of different sizes.

Pwede but I believe the DDR400 will downscale it's speed to match the 333. So anugon lang imo 400
