hdd - 320gb seagate barracuda (sata)
    psu - a cheap 550w supply

i've read some basic guides in OC-ing, but i think its best if someone know the specs of the proc to be OC-ed..

the E5200 can handle up to 3.2ghz overclock without increasing the voltage. i tried 3.0ghz (240fsb x 12.5 multiplier) stock voltage. wala siya ni reklamo, but underclock your RAM lang if you're going 3.0ghz, maintain it at 800mhz, (when u OC ur CPU, ur RAM's speed will go up too.) here's my setup with Gigabyte EG31m-ES2C Mainboard 240x12.5, stock voltage, RAM multiplier reduced to 3.3 (=800mhz). im not so sure if OC friendly imung board like the byties. and yah, the stock HSF can handle OC's up to 3.2ghz as well. and yah sir poldopunk is right, use a branded power supply, a generic power supply might not be able to handle your OC'ed CPU's thirst for power, it might give up and madamay imung board. so go branded PSU (for safety lang) since they have higher power efficiency, overvoltage protection, etc, incase.

and yah, increasing the voltage gives the procie a higher stress level, so go as far as your stock voltage can handle ;p. but i'll be increasing my voltage when i reach 3.5ghz for now 3.0ghz max usa ko kay wala pa koy kwarta pang palit ug core contact freezer cooler
