Default 14th French Film Festival 2009

    June 5 - 14 : Shang Cineplex, Shangrila Plaza

    June 19 - 21 : Ayala Center Cebu

This is once again free, on a first come first served basis.

Wala pa final sked for Cebu screening but most of the movies are the ones which premiered in Cannes including one of my all time favorite films and my favorite Francois Truffaut movie - the stunning "Les Quarte Cents Coup (The 400 Blows)."

Also in slate are Michael Haneke's "La Pianiste", (Haneke recently won Palme D'or at this year's Cannes for the movie "The White Ribbon"), Bertrand's 2009 Doc "Home", and Leconte's "Ridicule", among others.

Also, Brillante Mendoza's newest movie KINATAY (which he won Best Director for) might be shown also, along with the other Filipino movies exhibited in Cannes this year. That includes "Independencia," directed by Raya Martin, "Maynila," directed by Martin and Rodolfo Alix, Jr.
