The SM Mall of Asia is a shopping mall that opened on May 21, 2006[1] (originally scheduled for August 30, 2005) and is the Philippines' largest mall, surpassing its cousin, SM Megamall, and the third biggest mall in the world in terms of gross floor size next to China's biggest mall. It is owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, under the management of Henry Sy, a Filipino-Chinese business tycoon — regarded as one of the wealthiest men in Asia. (Forbes 2006 ranks him as the 14th richest person in southeast Asia, and "Henry Sy and family" as 74th richest person in the "Asia and Australia" region)

-go to manila by plane or by sea, then hail a taxi and tell the driver you want to go to SM Mall of Asia...
-i don't think it's worth it to go to manila just to visit a mall, but if you're already in manila and you have some spare time, then go ahead...
-lots of hotels there along roxas blvd...

I suggest you go there after two months pa... Grabe puno kaayo ang mall mura ug Quiapo, mura ug palengke. No exaggerations.

Naay I-Max didto. Super! It is a 3D cinema, HUGE screen. You will loooooove it. It costs P300.00 per person, for two movies - but I guarantee you will enjoy.

experience sa akong friend from a car club:

kahapon nasa mall of asia kami. around 4pm andun kame. sa tapat ng astroplus and national bookstore ata.. may bumagsak na ceiling. di ko lang alam kung may nabagsakan na mga tao. nakakatakot talaga. sayang i was'nt able to take pictures. kabado din eh. mga 30 mins lang kami andun. nag southmall nalang kame

super daming tao talaga. yung mga tao nasa gitna na at sa sahig nalang umupo para makakain. wala ng maupuan sa mga kainan. dun nga yung area na may bumagsak. kawawa naman mga tao dun.

ay issues talaga. Was the construction of the mall rushed? There's also some questions regarding the strength and integrity of the foundation since dagat yata na tinambakan ang ilalim niyan. I heard before that they had to repair some cracks that appeared sa building.

twice na napostpone ang opening ng mall of asia coz there was one section of the building that collapsed. so they had to redo that whole section again. unstable talaga yung foundation dun because reclaimed area lang naman yung lupa.

I've read sa ibang forums na may lumubog ata na part dyan during construction kaya na delay ang opening nito. dapat October last year pa ito nagbukas.

If you're coming from Cebu, it would not be worth it na sasadyain mo yang Mall of Asia, pwdeng side trip mo lang sya.

i was there. when i was in manila... gi re route na man gani ang bus padung baclaran para maagian sa routa.... dako jud na Mall... under construct pa to nga time... 2 typical building na xa,,, as in dako jud..
