IMHO, there is no job (nor business, for that matter) in the world that will make you feel that "you're making ends meet", because humans are insatiable--one never gets content.

Yes it does..Its just a matter of managing your priorities in life..Go for your needs and not on your wants..that could be a good start to make ends meet...
Considering that I have to help with the household expenses, and have to spend for my daily sustenance...? No, it doesn't make ends meet. Kuwang jud. Not in the sense that I want more but I honestly need more. If ako ra to, sakto ra man. But naa pa man gud akong sisters.
people by nature does not get contented the moment they have change in financial status. the WANTS increases and even sore high to its max level, until balik na sad sa kalisod. unless, if there wud be a change of heart and discipline, maka igo ra man gyud basta NECESSITY ra imo atubangon day to day!
^right, sis. I read about this american millionaire who donated money to a university there, and what's amazing was that he was a blue-collar worker all his working life. grabeh jud siya ka thrifty; he never bought brand-new clothes or furniture. when his savings was big enough, he started to invest.
so i guess it's really possible but it takes a lot of discipline.

Most of you are oblivious to the fact that society's wants and needs are primarily designed and shaped by a select few who are in power, so that consumerism will continue, otherwise, the economy (that they themselves designed) will collapse. Thus, the want for things unnecessary will always be there, and will always surpass the need for necessities--it was designed that way, primarily by the banking industry. Yes, some will be "wise" enough to save, but you constitute only about 3-8% of the population--the rest will continue to drone on, buying and wanting more and more, as planned and predicted by those who designed the way things are.
Remember, banks thrive on loans. If people didn't want, there will be less loans, which is something the bankers will frown upon. The next time you see a jovial banking add, it's just a reminder that they want to hold on to your balls, because DEBT is the primary reason why they exist.
Ask yourself. Why is that iPod in the mall window? In a debt-ridden country, with about 65-70% of the population living in terribly poor conditions, don't you think stores should be selling things not of luxury but of need? Then you say, well they were imported here so that those who have buying power can buy them. Oh really...but think closely--those who truly have buying power can afford to go out of the country and buy these products where they were manufactured. So why are they STILL being imported? To create WANT for the remainder of society. So even those who cannot afford, will still try to save up for an iPod that they normally can't afford, because want has been created. And that, my friends, is how they grab on to your balls, and squeeze whenever they like, because you are being controlled via WANT and DEBT.
And people wonder why millions are spent on a SINGLE jeans/shirt advertisement on TV/Radio/newspapers...you see, want is so important to these select few, that they will spend millions to ENSURE you keep WANTING.
