Question Low Virtual Memory: Unsay meaning ana?

Unsay meaning kung ang laptop mu-pop up ug message nga "You have a Low Virtual Memory left in your computer!" while you're playing?
Does it mean nga di na kadaog ang iyang RAM?
Asa man dapit ang guba gyud ana?
Do I have to change/upgrade the RAM?

    Please advice!

I presume that it is a laptop. Puno na ba imong hdd? Since virtual memory is located in the hdd.
Also, if possible you can add ug ram, much better.

Read: Virtual Memory in Windows XP

try running disk cleanup, verify the size of your virtual memory by allocating the same size for your RAM or simply let Windows manage it.

in a nutshell, windows moves programs with little activity to the hard drive as virtual memory. the temp folder and recycle bin in your profile is where its usually at so run a disk cleanup and empty everything you can then observe and report kung mao gani gihapon, its either naa program nag memory leak or a malware is eating your resources.

I see! Actually sa ako ni nga nephew gamay...gihatag man gud ni ante sa iya para duwaan!
Dako paman ug space sa iyang HDD brod!
Gi-divide ang storage into two drives, C and D...tag-20Gb each!
Ang sa drive C is 12Gb pa ang free space while 10Gb pud sa drive D.
I thought sa RAM ang virtual memory brod.

Ang mga games ra pud nga naka-installed kay pangbata raman pud like Brain Challenge, Treasure of the Ancient Cavern, etc..
Wala man naka-installed nga online games.
Mukalit lang gyud lagi ug hang while nagduwa siya...

So unsa man ni siya brod? HDD gyud o sa RAM?
Nangita lagi pud ko 1Gb nga RAM baligya diri lagi kay para ako na lang to pulihan, looy man gud sad! hehehe

its not the RAM, its the HD. when you install programs, there are files that are deposited in your profiles temp folder and over time as this folder bloats, windows will have a smaller space for virtual memory. try my advice on disk cleanup to empty the temp folders and verify the virtual memory setting in windows.

click start > right-click on my computer > select properties

    on the system properties tab:

click advanced > click settings under performance

    on the performance options window:

click advanced > select adjust best performance for programs > change

on the virtual memory settings window:

make sure your custom sizes matches the amount of memory installed or set it as System Managed. you need to restart after making the changes. kung naa pa gani low virtual memory na popup, scan for viruses or check na wla ka programs with memory leak through task manager.

sa hdd na ang virtual memory. like what poldo said, do a disk cleanup.
if you add more ram much better kay mao man na iya gamiton if naa pay space before moadto sa virtual memory which is slower. also, make sure your mobo can support the new ram.
