I believe this band is on it's way to realization...

months ago, lead vocalist michael did some solo performances at Handuraw mixing serious songs, murdering covers, and plain craziness.

This April 30 all that will change as The Difficult Stranger will finally be performing as a band.

the band has been posting rough demos in their MySpace but that;s just the skeleton of some songs.

If you're tired of the same screaming guitars, vocal line, drop D,and the likes, then it's time to hear something different.

Imagine Gin Blossoms hanging out with Hank Williams listening to MxPx while watching Flight of the Concords making fun of Social Distortion?

I dunno that's just my imagination anyway hahaha


Their brand of music is a fusion of country, rock, punk,folk, and humor.

It's more like Cowpunk without the cow...

Good effort but kuwang pa. Ang harmonies sa Hold My Life Tonight pwerteng yabaga. If he keeps singing off key sa recording, samot na kaha ug LIVE na.

It's not ayos bai... it's really WAY OFF. At first... second.. third listen.. it doesn't change. If I was him, I'd forget the harmonies altogether and just sing the melody. Ang vocal harmonies maoy makapa turn-off sa mga listeners ani. If I wasn't trying to review the song, I'd already stopped listening after the first two lines... inig abot gyud sa "TWINKLING EYES" .. click!

hmm at several listen sa Hold My Life i noticed it finally... sakto agree ko Ezra that song should be better without the harmony vocals or even if naa harmony basta klarohon lang pagka kanta..
