QUESTION: what image/photo slideshow application/software do you use??

unsa mga applications inyo gamiton nga dali ra para sa images to have a slideshow. simple fade in - fade out ra unta ang effect, then naa background music.

i can do this with flash or swishmax, pero grabeh sa oras tag sa saon ehehhe. tingali naa mo gamit na application/software diha na dali ra gamiton and automated.

export to mpeg or swf and output file.

If you are in a hurry, you can do Windows Movie Editor. Just Import and drag. But export as WMV

You can also use Adobe After Effects if you are a a TECHY video editor.

But you can also search for video converters out there.

yeah i know how to use those two proprietary softwares you meantioned; however there might be a software out there that can do this in a FLY, just go to a directory of images, add all, add background; then, choose an effect, export to mpg, mpeg, wmv, swf or bisan mpeg na lang kay daghan man converters out there.

thats very impressive guenter. im really poor in C or VB ehehhe. i guess its too much of a hassle for you doing this. im sure there are lots of apps out there that does this.

OMG!!!!

Picasa3 did it!
all the the things i needed was there: audio embed, preset effects, fonts, color, captioning, timeline duration, select folder and edit... much more woot!
