it depends..if you are in a company wherein they sent you abroad for training or for whatever reason...you will pay them before you will be cleared...but with other companies...that would be fine...so it's always best to read the contract first before signing...

it's not about threat. Kung unsa naa sa employment contract, then both parties -the employee and employer- must abide the contract.... Ingon ana na scenario kay very specific.... If it says in the contract na you have to render service (at least) for a certain period of time right after u signed the Job Offer, then you are bound to comply with the agreement... Or else, file sila administrative case against u...

thats a breach of contract.. plain and simple.!!

bitaw, bond ang common term ana.. it's in the contract, which you should know from the very beginning.
if mu resign ka, within sa contract, then you "should" pay for it.
