you run the windows xp installer, and format the drive that contains the ubuntu files and install your windows xp

that's what i did with my failed ubuntu installation, which had a lot of "ash" erros

simply u just reformat.

Make a fresh installation of winxp, format your disk or make partitions. When you get winxp up and running with all the drivers installed you can install ubuntu through wubi (just google "wubi ubuntu") and viola, you have 2 OS on your PC.

naa kay important files sa imo ubunto? if none, format diritso bro! delete all the existing partition if ever and create new one dayon format according to your desire...

1. turn your PC on
2. insert Bootable Windows XP® disc into drive, make sure drive is set to bootable
3. press a key to boot into CD and follow instruction in the screen
4. select drive to install
5. quick partition drive using NTFS
6. quick format
7. reboot

So ang imong problema f ma install na nimo ang NEW OS dli cya kasulod kay naa GHAPON ANG UBUNTO.. ang imong buhaton ana bro na ka stored man gud ang MBR sa ubunto nya cya harddrive.. remove first the MBR use windows 98 try read this link (( Google Answers: Moving/Replacing Master Boot Record using Windows XP ))

after mahimo nanimo install again the UR OS ex. XP or VISTA

nagkanosebleed jud ko sa inyong mga response..
when I bought the cpu..naa na cya nakainstall na ubuntu then d manko swito magkuti-kuti ug ubuntu..mao gusto ko tangtangon jud nako cya since naa man original windows xp installer ang among office neborow ko..then d manko kavaw unsaon pag-install kay d man cya pareha sa windows nga f naay bag-ong hardware..modritso ug ask kung iinstall ba..wala jud cyay sulod nga mga files kay d manko kavaw mgamit..huhu..until now la pa nako nagamit ako pc..naa unta ko iinstall na mga games d man ko kavaw..then useless japon coz ilisdan rasad nako ug OS..rescue me guys!
