Default 100% Foreign Ownership of Philippine Land, would you agree or not?

Some of our political leaders are proposing to change our constitution. One of the reason for this is to open Philippine economy by allowing 100% percent ownership of foreigners to our land.

Sa ako lang, in terms of economy, maayu siguro kay daghan mag invest nga foreigners pero ang draw back, posible nga musaka ang presyo sa yuta ug kitang mga pinoy mag lisod na ug palit kay dollar na ang price.

Unsa may tan-aw ninyo? makaayu ni sa atong nasud or dili? why?

In general, only Filipino citizens and corporations or partnerships with least 60% of the shares are owned by Filipinos are entitled to own or acquire land in the Philippines. Foreigners or non-Philippine nationals may however purchase condominiums, buildings, and enter into a long term land lease.

Yes, but the new law (if passed) will allow foreigners to own a land in the Philippines.
This might be good for our economy but this will also push prices up and might cause more hardship to our people.

advantage ani, daghan na investor moanhi kay makapalit na cla og properties sa ato without going looking for a local partner. molambo tingali ang economy tungod kay mo increase na ang job demand and naa na pd cash inflows mosulod sa 'pinas tungod ani nga foreign investors..

ang problema lang unya, mas dato n daghan man gyud kwarta ng mga foreigners kay kanato, maabot ra gyud ang time nga majority sa ato yuta and businesses here are own by these foreigner-investors.. so madugay, we gonna be the strangers in our land..
