I'm planning to buy a laptop... However I'm not that techy... So I dont want to end up like losing thousands just because I'm ignorant

I want a laptop to separate it from my brother's use on our computer. He used the computer most of the time playing.
The laptop I want to buy is for surfing websites, chatting, save some few information, downloading movies or music... And I want it somehow to be really fast and at least working in long hours. However my budget would only be aroung P20k to P30k...
Please I need your help can you tell me the model of the laptop that suits my needs...

Nindot pud ang Acer nga laptop. I saw one sa pcbodega nga site and it's within your budget, less than 30k. It's got an Intel dual core T4200 processor with 2gb RAM, upgradable up to 4 GB. 250 gb SATA harddrive. the display size is 14.1" WXGA TFT Crystal Light LCD. It also comes with a LINUX operating system. I don't know if you can change this OS to XP or VISTA but I think you can.The model is ACER Aspire AS4730Z-422G25Mn. I think this is a good buy. They also have laptops with Intel ATOM processors and it cost less than 20k or a little over 20k, depende sa specs.
