peolpe before us have fought for our freedom... some people of our kind are enslaving us...
let's re-live the EDSA spirit once again

The spirit of EDSA I is not for literally going to the streets again and ousting the president. For me, the spirit of EDSA I lies with the fact the people were united to the extent that we want our democracy back.

We want the rule of law and such happened after the EDSA revolution. The people then were prepared to do what they had to do if only to end the dictatorship of Marcos. Right now, we should have been doing that as well. However, we should not do such by ousting a working president but being responsible citizens of this country.

Does this event still make sense today? Politicians are just making use of this to air whatever they want to air without doing any sensible action to help our country... verbal "pa-pogi" ra jd. administration, opposition alike.

The revolution was successful because the Pinoys were tired of the system. What came next is worth the risk.
