Which is a wiser thing to buy? an external dvd writer or an external hard disk for my netbook.. i have consumed a great space in my disk already with movie downloads. and im confused to what would be the best thing to buy.. most of my files are movies, pictures and music files.

^^ best opt would be the external HDD..
dvd-rw has a lifespan.

external HDD sir; for the ff reasons,
you dont have to burn them
you can easily access them since they are in softcopy
you can protect them because they are in one container
and many other things
**but you really have to take care of that external HD**
