How to put clip-on human hair extensions?

1. Separate the hair on the lower center part of your head. Leave out hair that is about 1 inch above the nape of the neck. Make a clean horizontal part using a tail comb or your index finger, parting the hair where you will attach the first 3-clipped extensions. Lift and clamp/clip up the top portion of hair above the parted hair to keep it out of the way.

2. Open the clips facing the scalp then place the 3-clipped hair extensions on that center back of the head, just below the part. Attach the middle clip first. Part a small portion of hair (about an inch) where you will put the middle clip then gently attach/snap to the roots of your hair and press firmly. Check if the attachment is securely in place, tightness just right . Do the same for rest of the 3-clipped pieces you intend to put layer upon layer.

3. Attach the 2-clipped pieces on each side of the head, starting just above the ear. Follow with the temple area and up , if you want to layer some more extensions .

4. For every layer of extensions that you will attach, leave enough of your real hair out on top that you will lay over the extensions. Comb or brush your natural hair down gently over the clip-on hair extensions for a perfect blend. Style as desired.

COOL TIP: For added grip, tease and hairspray the small area where you will attach the clips of the extensions, at the roots of your own hair before attaching the clips. Or simply rough up the small area with hairspray to secure a firm grip of the clips.
