    Default WIFI or Hardware issue?


    actually wa ko kybaw if this would belong dri. heres the question, naa koy friend nga naay REDFOX wizbook nga laptop. pag primero nga connect through wifi didto sa robinson was able to connect dayon of cors nag enter pod sa passkey.... but on succeeding attempt na dli na jud sya mka connect though mka detect sya and mo ask sa passkey but once inig enter na sa passkey nothing happens na.... bsag asa nga naa free wifi dli jud sya mka connect. is this a hardware issue or naa lng settings dapat usbon... TIA!!!

    ahhmmm....dili na hardware cguro....basin u have entered a wrong passkey...ur basin ang imo wireless device not functioning well due to invalid or wrong settings...need cguro na e configure...mura naa ka e allow ana...hope na tabangan tika....

    unsay operating system bro? try to check if naa "!" sa two computer icon na duol sa time, disable/enable NIC

    btw, when you say nothing happens, wa jud confirmation nga connected na siya...?

    ang icon sa taksbar, naa ghpon "X" or something saying not connected?

    coz if naa siya'y activity icon, maybe there's some proxy settings needed usbon or na-usab..
    not sure but maybe one of the cause

    it can detect Wifi, right? maybe not much of issue sa hardware.. IMO
    maybe some settings ang na usab..

    hehehe I was also thinking of system restore, para balik settings

    have you tried scanning the system with your av? because viruses sometimes mess up your settings including the wifi.

    @kid_blade: sakto kaayo ang pass key bro.... sa tanan nga free wifi na adto namo dli gyud sya mka connect

    @COMCAM: windows XP ang OS ani bro

    @stealthghost: yes bro naa "X".... i know nga wala jud sya mka connect.... but it can detect wifi in the area

    @junmar4: na scan naman nko bro and gi delete na ang mga virus... still the same

    sensya na kaayo sa ako ignorance ani dli ko anad sa wifi

    settings ra na cya bro....posible pud na giusab ang passkey wifi....lang ug check sa taskbar naa icon dha sa computer then right click basin na disable na imo hardware, sundan lang giingon ni COMCAM....

    bro naa uban laptop nga ang ia wifi settings iya i retain, try to delete those settings nga iya nagamit sa una and start fresh. Naka suway ko og ayu ana sa mac og asus nga laptop, i dont know if it's the same ra sa uban. Just try it out.
