how to connect skycable internet using LINKSYS router...?

helo guys..

Guys help.. im currently using skycable connection with cable.. akong issue is dili ko ka connect sa 3 nako ka PC using my LINKSYS WRT54GC ver 2.0 wireless router... well on our previous ISP provider (smart) ok man kaau ang connection.. ...I used DHCP connection setting sa router and wala jud problema.. I called Tech from sky and there telling me that it's 50-50 assurance na mag work ang connection.. kai pag sign daw nako sa registration isa lang daw ka computer sa usa ka modem nila...ang scenario is.. ilang modem SCIENTIFIC ATLANTA ang brand connected using coax cable syempre gkan sa linya sa gawas. tapos hub using RJ45 to my PC.. anyhow ang smart napansin ninyo gkan sa reciever RJ45 na ang gamit.. dili kaau ko sweto ani however i knw about basic LAN setups man..

naa ba moy tips or suggestions ani...? sayangan ko sa 2 ka pc kung dili ma gamit.. ug im thinking that naa bay software na pwede maka distribute ug stable connection gamit akong LINKSYS router..? pls.. pls..help...

helo dex.. yeeep my router is capable of rj45 cables... well thanks 4 ur reply.. preciate it much bro.. i just got connected no sweat.. what i did was i change the ip of my LINKSYS router (192.128.100.1).. ive read previous article Globe Broadband Prob[PROLINK MODEM/ROUTER + LINKSYS ROUTER] - Wayth Vader reply text.. u can connect in 1 pc only?
r u using windows xp pro?

If say so, u can bridge the other 2 PC using ur router. only works in windows XP pro.

yacky i have been connected on 3pc's bro.. i just change my ip add (LINKSYS)... thats all..
yeep i bridged 2 pc's on my router...
im currently using vista ultimate 32bit .. it works perfectly fine... no problemo.. thanks...

yo bro paspas ang skycable na net? and isa rana ila plan? Unlike PLDT and others which has different options. I'm interested in applying ana, pldt and other company sux in giving out their bandwith. Mga 50% ra guro ihatag nimo and if you are not aware louy kaayo ka, dako bayran gamay makuha. Bro repz nya..planning to change my net. XD

bro, asa imo place sa cebu? ky dugay nko ngita number sa sky cable mag inquire ta ko if naa sila CABLE DSL. mura naa mn tingali pagka kita nko sa imo thread bro. sa talamban area kaha bro, naa kaha sila ana? plan gyd nko mo switch ug lain provider. ky hinayan ko sa smart bro. if you have number sa sky cable bro, puede ko mangayo. salamat kaayo..

same ta babolgam, plan gyd nko mag switch sa sky cable kung naa sila. mas papas ang cable kysa dsl kysa wireless.

atai pre na busy gamay.. uu guys pas2 dyud ang sky.. dako and deperensya sa smart.. well nag 2yrs nako subscribe sa smart.. im not happy dyud sa service. hinaaaay dyud kaau.. 48 yrs kaau ang ahak.. labi na mu ulan.. no choice ko dati kai layo kaau among balay sa downtown mao wala pay sky sa una.. well karon ganahan dyud kaau ko.. 3 ka pc gadagan ok dyud ang speed kontento nako sa 999 nako gbayaran.. well akong package with cable nani sya.. 64 channels na.. im paying 1400 a month.. sulit kaau kai daghan na channels ba..

by the way guys nag puyo ko sa davao.. wala dyud ko information about who to contact with.. pero log on mo ani na website.. i hope this would help SKYBROADBAND - a SKYCABLE service....

salamat denuel, nakakita nko number sa skycable ngari.. bali ang cable+1Mbps = 1,999 nya ang 784 kbps + cable = 1,699 nya ang 384kbps + cable = 1,299.. unsa na package sa imo bro? pila ang download rate nya.. naa ka YM kay naa lng ko ask gamay sa speed nya kung same lng ba dwi sa cebu. this sat. mag adto ko sa ila office ky e try nko tanan package nila sa DSL. kung paspas ba ila download rate. smart bro mn gud ko bro, ako download rate ky 390 kbps lng gamit ang Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test nya ang globelines na landline + 384 kbps = 995 pero ang download rate ky 291 kbps. so mas paspas pa di ang smart bro kysa globelines.. plan mn to gud ko mag switch sa 1Mbps+landline sa globelines wich cost 1,295...

huhuhu.. need lng gyd ko feedback unsa mas nice sa duha.. landline+DSL or cable+DSL..
