anyone here do volunteer work? pls share your motivations and what made you choose that path.. im thinking of giving my time to those who really need it. maybe ill find my northern star by doing this, who knows.. im still weighing things though, commitment issues.. so for now im thinking about it but im still asserting my self deeper if im really called for it..

^same here. tried volunteering as storyteller/book reader to children at the public library. challenge was finding time coz i worked weekdays and the library was not open on weekends. "WAS" because the public library will soon be gone. (Can you believe that?)
