if you're referring to ethical hacking.. then its legal.. i think its okay to share ideas with it.. but if you are promoting malicious hacking better not on this forum...

Ethical Hacker is a part of IT security... They were an IT personnel of a company who will try to sneak to their network to see if they were unsecured and open ports and will fix any found volatile part of their security.

[Imbestigador] GMA 7 Discusson on "h@cking Friendster" <--- I started a discussion about this featured hacking incident in friendster. Someone saw the website of the company who was interviewed in GMA 7 and I was surprised that their own company website was hacked. See the screen shot.

So mga bro.. unsa may security nila gigamit... nga na hack man sila.... basin wala sila nagbantay sa firewall basin naay port nga naka open nga naka hibalo ang hacker nga didto siya mo agi.

some tools can specify any port sa pag access hehe.........

firewall is only a 1st line of defense. transport layer nga security

its best to integrate another level of security such is intrusion prevention systems

pariha ra ni ug concept sa anti virus, ang anti virus naay copy sa virus signatures to have knowledge about that kind of virus, kong mo attacke gani sya sa network, iya dayon na e drop or delete

sa ips kay attack signatures, kong imo ips naay knowledge about that kind of attack example: DOS,backdoor, ect. it will drop that packet
