Default Beware of shipping your vehicles to manila via Aboitiz Transport system.

To all istoryans, beware of shipping your vehicles thru aboitiz transport system or the superferry ships going to manila coz i have a very bad experience regarding them. I shipped a suzuki minivan last december 23 going to manila, in the van, i have a box with gifts for my family, this box was opened here in cebu by the K9 units at the pier for security check infront of my representatives and loaded again in the van, but when the ship arrives in manila, all the gifts for my family are gone, this is consisting of 5 branded shirts wrapped in christmas wrapper with the names of my kids and wife, even the two glade freshner i bought for the van is gone, i was shocked when they pickme up at the airport using the van and finding the gifts all gone, On the 26th of December, i ask our cebu office to call ATS office here in cebu to complain, only to find out that this is not the first time that this happens to vehicles being shipped to manila and losing valuables inside, and they are not doing anything about it. and they told me to just email my complains, but Until now i am still waiting for their reply to my complaints.

Boss Scrum888, did you declare the items inside the van in the Houseway Bill (or BL)? it should be declared coz if wala na siya naka declare then wala gyud ka laban ana. Even mga tools accesories dapat naka declare. What is declared in the BL (or houseway bill) mao ra gyud na siya ang nakarga sa barko as per record.

Sad to say, my representative was unable to declare the box inside, but i have been shipping vehicles to manila regularly and this is the first time i encountered a loss and this is also the first time i shipped with aboitiz transport system, kapaet ani, and the people here knows it happens and they dont do anything about it.
