processor and Video cardfor laptops, need help

hi ppl i need help on deciding on buying a laptop, that could run graphic applications such a as ps flash and maya, i need it for mobility, and im on a budget 40k, but im not sure which processor should i go with,

i wanted a core 2 duo 1.8g thay say its a standard. but since its to rich for my blood.

i wanted to know which is better a amd turion 64 x2 or a dual core
i read the turion is faster but how fast is it vs the dual core

for instance
turion 64 x2 1.8gh vs a dual core 2.0gh

which is fater

also im im dont know what video card should i go for

thats my dilemma, say they have the same price range thats were im stuck
