HELP!! Drive D icon on laptop erased/disappeared. How to recover?

...i was tinkering w my laptop when suddenly the drive d icon on my computer disappeared. Dunno what i clicked but cant find it anymore. when i load a cd into the cd-rom drive dili na mobasa. any help is appreciated! thanks daan....

go to CONTROL PANEL then PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE then ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS then COMPUTER MANAGEMENT then DISK MANAGEMENT,at there u will see ur physical drives partition

Assuming your using WinXP.

Right Click My Computer, Click Manage. Look for Disk Management on the left panel of Computer Mangement, now on the upper right panel, You will see all the Partition/Volume/Status/Capacity of your existing Drives which is registered in windows. On your lower right panel are indication of your Disk/CD/DVD Health. Just check if the disk/volume your reffering does exist and its Acitve/Healthy. If inactive, right click on your unmanage Disk and easily set it with your desired manageable option.

..mga brod thanks kaayo sa inyong tabang pero when i clicked computer management ang makita didto ang drive c ra man, wala man ang cd-rom drive makita. unsaon man ni?

tingali na erase nimo ang driver sa cd drive....
