mga master ask ko sa inyo idea coz this is an old school questions.
I have a friend iyang mobo kay karaan then ang AGP 1x or 2x bato and it has a videocard NOT builtin maybe 32mb lang then its an intel socket 478 then mo support ug pc133 ug ddr400 iyang rams.
Ang akong questions:
1. Iyang mobo kay 1x /2x support sa AGP if gamitan nakog 8x na vcard mo dagan ba cya? kaya ba niya?
2. Compatible ba ang AGP CARD with 1x 2x to 4x and 8x sa mobo nga AGP 1X??

musupport ghapon bro pero limited ra na klasing video card ang magamit, not the high end type.
kung ibutang nimo ang 8x na agp sa 1x/2x, mudagan xa as 1x/2x lang..

vladmire is right. in addition, there is a chance ur 8x agp vc will not run due to incompatibility. good luck bro.

Yeahh got it bros nag research ko ani na and its not all AGP will run in all AGP slots.
Better upgrade to PCIE bahala mo gasto ka! hehehe I advised my friend and I dont know if he agrees or not.

@yugi, upgrade to PCIE? diba you'll need new motherboard for that?
So, you advised him to buy new MoBo?

basically, if you advise users to upgrade from Socket 478, it's like saying to them, "Buy a new set of Computer.."

i doubt if ur friend will agree on buying the pcie videocard na agp man to iyaha so that means mag change gyud siya og mobo hasta na pod cpu and memory
