Seagate HDD RMA

I'd like to ask fellow istoryans on their experience with Seagate HDD RMA.

I have a dead 200GB Seagate HDD and is still under the 5-year warranty. I'd like to know how to package the dead HDD and what other items should be packed along with the defective HDD.

Look, I read their instructions on their site, pero basin dili kaayo strikto ato dinhi hehe... basin okay ra kung anti-static bag lang.

just pouch it with regular bag/plastic that is available sa shipping company (ex. air 21). declare it as a defective item. mail it together with the Seagate RMA form (manila address). 1 - 2 days after nila madawat, you will receive a confirmation tru email na nadawat na nila and that they are processing the RMA. maximum turn around time 3-5 days. Based on experience lang ni bai...

Enclose the HD in a box as suggested. then mail it to RMA manila.
Ang importante is you follow their instructions, they have to right to void the warranty if dili ka mu follow.
the static plastic refers to that gray plastic or that plastic casing.
in case you dont have the proper materials, they have suggestion on how to do it properly.

There is Seagate baya sa SM? how about asking there?

my advice is first return in to where you bought it,
basta under warranty, ila na e send (pcquickbuys).

kung dili na sila mu accept, send it yourself.
