    Default WinXP restarted automatically


    mga bro,

    unsa inyo ikatabang ani...naa ko workstation using winXP SP2 OS...belong sa WORKGROUP not connected sa domain
    after installing other applications, drivers and etc...tpos working for let say 2-3 weeks or a month...pagkahuman dili na makagamit pag login pa lng nimo tpos naay mu popup human restart...gi-reinstall nko usab testing kung basi naa conflict sa drivers pero same story...katulo nko nag re-install....tpos lately..nka encounter napud ko same proble sa laing workstation...unsa possible caused ani..virus? kumpleto man ko protection og updated pud...anti virus og anti-spyware...sayang kaau oras cge re-install sa OS...help...tnx daan sa inyo ideas....

    inig pop-up... type this on Run "shutdown -a"...then enter..

    i suggest you initially block any incoming traffic sa mga workstations. this might be a sneaky worm or trojan.

    tnx bro tamblot...pero how come of all workstation kani lng duha ang naga ingon ani. the rest so far wla may complaint..though tama ka kay vulnerable pa kaau ako LAN krn sa net tungod kay wla pako sakto na firewall...rightnow im using ISA2K lng.

    tagai daw ko gamay idea unsa imo pasabot sa na i-block nko initially ang incoming traffic...tanan workstation man gud nko naa net connections kay required sa mailing system..tnx daan bro tamblot

    hmmm..possible pud nang lack of power pud..mo restart mana basta insufficient imo power from your PSU....check lang imong PSU kung pila wattage..then post it here kung unsay imong mga add ons, then imo HD's and other peripherals pud.

    I think it's a hardware problem.

    I doubt kung sa hardware bro kay sa lain PC nahitabo pud different brand man unta sila. pag load sa windows naay murag process mu popup unya from there mu restart na cya.

    OT: naa man gud koy 2 ka users na kabalo pud og IT i mean nagwork as IT for 5yrs before sa isa ka dept.basig naga dula2x
    basi mao ni caused...mao gusto nko mahibal-an unsa ila gibuhat ngano mu-restart.
