Most bloggers use WordPress for blogging online, since WordPress just released their RC1 for version 2.7, this will be a preview of what's to come on the final release of WordPress 2.7.

eh, most people should just wait for release instead of playing with release candidates. There are no features in betas and release candidates that people absolutely need.

actually vern, in the case of wordpress there is a big difference in terms of feature from 2.6.x to 2.7. The 2.7 release has been in three beta stages, and for RC1, there are a lot of improvements yet again.

Compare the two version...and notice the big difference. And tell me, is there any feature in 2.7 RC1 that people would not need?

Like I said ABSOLUTELY need.

None of those improvements people ABSOLUTELY need. There is a reason why software goes through alphas, betas and release candidates ... it isn't ready for primetime. Plus with the rapid development of WP, a few weeks wait is tolerable.

I'm assuming you haven't used WP 2.7 before. True, that with WP's fast development one can wait for a few weeks to get the real score. But one can also use WP 2.7 Series without a hassle, with the auto update/upgrade feature you don't have to backup your whole WP database(based on my experience of using WP 2.7 from beta1 - beta3) and manually update WP's core just to upgrade a notch.The Upgrade feature of WP2.7 will save you time if it will have another update/upgrade. It will automatically update WP's core files and update WP's database if needed.

You have to try it to believe, install WP 2.7 RC1 now and save yourselves from the hassle of doing a fresh install later.
