I'm not familiar about that. But according to Buddhist Traditions, Boddhisattva Maitreya will take over Gautama Siddharta's seat and will turn the Wheel of Dhamma.

Aside from that, there are countless buddha's who attained enlightenment even right after the Lord Siddharta got enlightened under the Boddhi Tree preached his first discourse.Dili lang nuun sikat.haha

I saw this in Discovery Channel. His family are building fence around him and they made the place into a tourist spot. But in the Evening they close down the site to tourist and drove even the discovery team in not filming him during night time.
