if there would be, it would still be so inefficient and makes you unproductive..
start with a dual core, and check for a laptop nga not using IGP, using nvdia or ati. rendering ang pinaka problema nimo, and big scenes or high poly models, kamang jud na ang computer. best use a 64-bit system, at least 2gb ram. kung sa animation nga side ka, u need powered up CPU.

i see... hehe impossible diay barato kung ingun ana. hehe
barato would mean practical and affordable.
asus m50sv... kaya ra kaayo nang 3ds max and its locally available. i have an entry level compaq dual-core laptop that has integrated video but i can still manage to do simple to medium size scenes. i'd also suggest you downgrade to xp pro 64, vista 64 is still a resource hog when it comes to rendering. i tried both OS in my laptop and xp pro 64 renders considerably faster. just remember that your laptop should just compliment your workstation and not replace it.

@dre ok raman bro. render times on my laptop is almost 2x slower than my quad core. I successfuly used vray's distributed rendering system and max's backburner on both my laptop and workstation. but when I installed vista 64, it had some problem detecting the network.
@carmicaeld i don't quite follow what you mean by rasterize bro but if its pertaining to textures then there's no problem at all.
