80% of the billboards you see here uses studio lighting or strobelights or speedlights para sakto ang exposure and u can play with the enviroment/weather condition.

lightmeter etc...

sa camera mostly it is DSLR these days and some high-end company they use medium format, digital medium format and large format camera ( sa large format lots of corporate and architectural photography still use this
cuz mas detail hehe )

nya daghan involve sa production like there is a stylist ( art department to setup the set), make-up artist (plus assitant) Photographer (plus assistant sa setting up the lighting) driver, production assitant sa set to prepare sa food etc.. etc..

sometimes they do it sa inorder sa studio or outdoor location. thats why mas nindot to hire an ad agency para sila bahala sa labad sa ulo sa paghuna huna sa creative concept >: )

dili na depende sa camera? lets say nga akong camera gamit kay EOS450D, maka shot pod ko ana para billboard? or if mag setting ko sa RAW dayun e PP...pwede sad na para billboard?

if ang gamit nimu ang pop up flash tapos ang desired shot nimu
k parehas sa billboards, murag lisud siya para nako...pro dli

aw pwede ra man bai,pero i think mas nindot unta gyud if imo camera has a bigger megapixels,para bsan e blow-up pa ang image, dili kaau pixelated ang result...

that's the beauty of high end cams,like canon 1Dsmk3,5dmk2,nikon d300 & d700, and some other full frame and high mp cams...

pero speaking of pareha lang ang result pero dili pang billboard size, yes,,,, maka kuha raka ana nga result as long as u have the right gears...

yah that's true bai,,,an old nikon pro 1.3mp maka make ug nice billboard sa una...but anyway, any cam pwede ra sa billboard,total they are draw to lure your eyes from a great distance, and the impact of the image...not the goofy resolution matters...

due to competitive ads,mauna they use high-end gears and very nice printers para nindot ang results...some advertisers want a high dpi/ppi for a billboard,its basically that somehow they think that absurd tolerances will make their image look better...
