No internet connection after sleepmode in Vista SP1

Hi. mga guru's ug mga bossing. im having problem with my Vista 64bit SP1 integrated. my problem is after awaking my system during sleepmode mawala ako internet connection but unlike sa uban nga mga problem nga makita nako sa internet using google ang ako internet connection kay permanent jud xa mawala even after restarting the pc, repairing connection using connection wizard, playing around the lan settings in the advance hardware configuration, using ipconfig /renew command in the cmd, disabling background running software and firewire. updating bios and drivers of my mobo which MSI P45 Platinum, even updating my system with the KB933872 hot fix windows update which will supposed to solve the problem as what i read in the internet wont do the trick. the only way i can find which can get my system back online is a fresh install if the os. but i dont suspect that it's a hardware related issue coz i can get online and browse the internet if i boot my pc using the safe mode with networking options. if anyone of you guys had experience the same thing, plz give me some guides on how to overcome this issue.. it's very frustrating and a pain in the ass reformatting my system everytime i left my pc in idle for a short time. i hope someone could help me this one. thanks in advance.

That's been a long time bug from Vista which was supposed to be solved on the SP1, but then many others are still having the same problem. Temporary solution is to disable your sleep mode until Microsoft can find a solution.

what i've experienced nuon was kinda different... vista OS nga mka ping ug website, pero dili ka view sa browser, had to fix winsock ato and it worked!

disable sleepmode ... then turn off your computer monitor (think Green IT )

might be one of the other pc components is causing this issue. had never experienced this issue with my vista. when it is back from sleep mode, internet is back in a few seconds.

case already been solve. after running through a series of workaround and some theories that i found from the internet i just find out that its my nod32 antivirus was the main cause. when i try to uninstalled my nod32 anti-virus my internet connection came back unexpectedly.. as what iv noticed is after a certain update of nod32 my internet connection got disconnected. the twist part of it is that every time it happens my computer was on a sleep mode state. it's actually my first time having this issue of nod32 co'z way back when i was using xp as my OS i haven't encountered such problem.. so what i did is uninstalled nod32 and use kaspersky 2009 instead. anyway thanks for the reply although i haven't got the chance to read it during the incident it would still be a valuable guides for those people who might having problems with their vista.

I also have This problem. But mine is a little different. My system wont wake up it wont even post and will remain in a black screen although clearly akong system fans nag andar na. Even Clean reinstalling sa OS same thing.

what type of Operating system are you using? if it is windows vista you should have to disable the sleepmode thingy. i read that service pack 1 should take care of the said issue but as far as what iv read from the internet the problems still occurs with an all new complicated stuff bundled with it. i think that the main reason is actually bout the incompatibility of the OS with some of the application we were using and that's what microsoft is trying to fix with on windows 7.
