    1. When I was still in med school (199, we got our rabbits for research at a farm in Kauswagan
beyond Talamban, Cebu City. That's where North Gen Hosptl now stands. I guess you can ask around if the breeders have also moved. Just four years ago, I had over 50 rabbits all of which were healthy descendants from my test animals. They came from three females and my favorite male--Rusty. Rusty is dead now and all I have are two old females who are probably gonna die in the next thunderstorm.
    2. At six months old (breeding age) they were P250 each. In petshops you can get bunnies for the same price. Kung adult na nobody wants them anymore...kalas sad sa feeds.
    3. Yup, they're easy to maintain. I kept them at the back yard. Di baho ila tae and good plant fertilizer pa. Ang ihi lang angso. Sayon ra sad i-breed. Hell! I just started with four and they blew up to over 50 in a few years.
    4. Usually the domestic rabbits are lazy and not aggressive. They're the quietest pets I've ever had. Mosiyagit lang kung maipit or when attacked by dogs or worse...cats! Cats feed on the young. Rabbits are so passive that cats are met with little resistance when they come to steal the bunnies. Rabbits are also very fragile animals. Mamatay ang uban kung makuratan labi na kung mag dogdog when it rains.
    5. Feeds are available at any Agrivet outlet. Naa sad sa mga stores selling cock feeds. I also give then kangkong once in a while.
    6. I never sold my rabbits. I gave them away especially to couples with kids who wanted them. Like I said, I had over 50 four years ago.
    7. I can't answer you on that. I had a friend who transported 20 rabbits in boxes with airholes through Supercat. If you take the ferry from Cebu to Tubigon, mura di kaayo sila strict. Hope I was able to help you.
