any one knows about PHP Framework? like: CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Symfony, Zend, etc.. what framework you'll be using right now and what is the best?

All of this framework is using MVC architecture..
I think I'll go for CakePHP because its very easy to use, rapid development, it has good ORM framework, Quickforms views and very close also to RoR..

Symfony is quite complicated than CakePHP but its very good in enterprise app.

Zend on the other hand is also good because this framework was created from the founder of PHP.
but I think this dont include ORM functionality.. i think there are third party modules but not bundle in Zend..


dont know about CodeIgniter..

wE used Zend for big projects, but we just use our own framework developed by our team..^^..

Wla kaila MVC bai... mao na gamit sa kasagaran framework. Model, controller, views... Abi ba nako sweto ka tanan bai... Daghan naman kabaw ani, ikaw ra wla.. hehehe

I'm a little bit proficient in PHP and I usually code my pages the normal way (without frameworks). Is there anything I should know about frameworks? I'm on a on-going project right now with a core team and we do not use any of the frameworks (lol college friends). But a friend of mine who actually works on a web dev company as a web designer told me to apply in that company because they need PHP devs. They're looking for people who are experienced with Code Igniter. Since I'm a bit busy to do some TL;DR's, could someone explain it to me in a few lines?

CI is not that difficult.. Dali ra ni tun-an.. mao ni commonly gamit sa mga web developers.. mao-mao ra ni cya sa cakePHP..
