    Unhappy Frustrations with cebu pacific


    I just want to share this Frustration and Inconvenience that I have experienced with Cebu Pacific

    We booked a Package with Cebu Pacific last month for Cebu to HOngkong including hotels and 2 Activities.
    Our trip will be this end of November 2008
    The reason why we booked this Package with Cebu Pacific, is that , they have the lowest available price offered compared to some agencies.

    Cebu Pacific emailed me my Itinerary a day after we bought the Package online and informed us that our Package is already "CONFIRMED".

    A week after I received their email, I called up the hotel in Hongkong (where we are staying) to ask them
    if they have our reservation. To my surprise, the Front Desk employee told me that they DONT have our Reservations. I called Cebu Pacific right away and informed them of the conversation I had with the Hotel.
    And Guess what?? All the agent could tell me was. "According to our records, your reservation is already CONFIRMED" i asked the agent how can this be confirmed, when the hotel says, they dont have our reservations. the agent answered "basta po, sa records namin Confirmed na cya, tawag lang po ulit kayo bukas"................ OMG!!! anong kalseng sagot yan

    If I could remember it right, CONFIRMED would also mean Verified, completed or Booked.
    I have been working for an International Travel Agency before for more than 2 years and I definitely know what it means.

    After that first conversation I had with the agent, I have been calling them every week for the past 4 weeks
    I have talked to four different agents and they all said the same thing.

    Today, Nov 14, i decided to email the hotel in Hongkong to verify "again" our reservation
    and as expected, they replied back saying "Im sorry to inform you that at this moment, we could not locate your reservation, please contact your travel agent"

    I forwarded this email to cebu pacific to let them know of the hotel's reply. I called their customer service
    hotline and informed them about this. Same answer " Naka CONFIRM napo talaga reservation nyo according to our records"
    I then told the agent that I need to speak with his Supervisor or Manager. After 20 minutes of waiting for his supervisor, the agent came back and told me "I spoke with my supervisor and was advised that we usually submit our Hotel reservation to the Hotel 3 days before your departure"...WHAAATTT?? you have to wait for 3 days before our departure to send the reservation to the hotel. What if when u submitted it to the hotel, eh fully booked na sila?? Thats practically the reason why we booked our Package a month bfore the scheduled vacation so that we could reserve ahead!!!
    The agent replied "we will just email our international partner to have your reservation sent to the hotel agad and we will give you a reply 24 hrs after"

    HAAAAYYY naakkuuu, I Hung up the phone coz im so mad, so frustrated that I am really going to their
    ticket office tomorrow..i soooooo .....gggrrrrrrrr never mind!!!


    So to you guys who are planning to book with this company, better be sure that your reservations
    are really confirmed with both the airline and the hotel (if ever you have packages booked with them)
    I dont think you would want to undergo what I am going thru right now

    I really hope I could settle this with them , cause Honestly, I am never booking any reservations with CEBU PACIFIC from this moment onwards...........ggrrrrrrrrrr

    Wa gyud lagi silay claro. I emailed them twice few minutes ago sa ila email add na : (cebfuntours@cebupacificair.com) and before I sent each email, nag require gyud ko ug "read receipt" for me to know if na read na nila...SUS, ang ako nadawat kay ila ra gyud READ receipt ra, wala gyud sila mu reply sa akong concern. g deadma ra akong email. Labon gahapon when I emailed them to just ask what my reservation was, dali ra kaayo naka reply sa ako package information, pero ug naa na gani kay problema, queber na imu email. d na gyud mu reply...SSOOOO INCOMPETENT...super BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE grabe

    mao gyud, barato kaayo pero ang customer service is sooo BAADD big time. thats what we get for paying less

    basin misunderstanding lang.. mistake though is youre were not informed of cebu pacifics understanding of "confirmed".. its actually confirmed on their end that is.. and their standard procedure cguro is 3days before departure ang confirmation for hotel accomodation.. nwei's if that happens that the hotel is fully booked.. you can always demand a compensation.. better hotel accomodation perhaps.. hehe.. anyways, its also hard on the agents side bec they are limited on thier actions and solutions.. but still, thanks for sharing.. other options nlng jud.. hehe..

    ka relate ko sa una.. amo flight kay 3am to Manila den naa mi connecting flights para 6:30 am ato international.. wala ka larga ang plane abtan nalang ug 5am.. cge ra cla check2x sa airplane mao to.. gi panaug mi den gipastay mi sa ila office dha sa airport.. stranded mi ato.. den hasol.. so nagparebook mi.. the following day nami ni larga..

    thats why id rather pay exta than to have a bad headache. Cebu Patheatic!
