    Default Any chicklit recommendations?

Can anyone suggest chicklit books like the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella?

ahh, let me get this straight. You want us to recommend chicklit books with the same style (for want of a better word) as Kinsella's?

    OR

can we also suggest other authors?

there might be a difference yknow. I've read her books and I just found them too light a read. hehehe I mean, i wasn't challenged. How bout other authors?

    hahahahahaha @ your eeww

Isn't Chick Lit a genre fiction?

If we seriously follow the meaning, then I only have Sophie Kinsella (seriously Chick Lit!)

    but I can probably recommend

    Meg Cabot
Lauren Weisberger - The Devil Wears Prada
Helen Fielding of the Bridget Jones Diary

then I have these authors and although not seriously under this literary genre, i will give a reason why I recommend them.

Jodi Picoult - any of hers because someday Chick-Lit readers just have to grow up
Jennifer Kaufman and Karen Mack - debut book | Literature and Longing in L.A. | chick lit for bookworms
Laurell K. Hamilton - Anita Blake series| magickal Chick Lit

The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing by Melissa Bank
*** and the City - Candace Bushnell
Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber: The Katya Livingston Chronicles - Adele Lang

Dick Lit is good too... I recommend Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, About a Boy, How to be Good), Mike Gayle (My Legendary Girlfriend, His n' Hers), Ben Elton.. etc
