How to determine your line of toys you collect is fake or original?

I only know if the toys are original if it is sealed when i buy.

Sa fake? wala nako kabaw
Unsa paman uban tima-ilhan fake?
Unsa paman uban tima-ilhan Original?

I have seen loose ML at Tamiya(ayala) I don't know if it is a fake to or original.

im not an expert but i think some toys that directly came out from their factory arent sealed in tape. thats the case of macross yamato. but i could be wrong.

what i can tell is the print of the packaging, usually original packagings are brighter with some form of varnish, fake ones mas lagum og print and some wont even dare to put the original toymakers logo.

as for the toy itself, hard to say. Quality is a factor but maybe the ones you saw are over runs.

maybe somebody can give a better opinion, mine might not be as accurate

one of the reasons why i decided to collect macross, particularly the yamato version's, because there no bootleg version for the toyline. apparenly bootlegs normally targeted toys aren't that much costly and are widely avaialble.

other the the packaging, the toy itself (look, materials, and some minute details like some the absence of holographic stickers or maker's logo) are indications whether the toy's genuine or bootleg.

ang orig na toys dili ma gagas og dali sa kuko..... ma bawg ra ang plastic unya dili motingog kun mabuak man.... dili sab dusty ang fabrication sa material.

hikap palang... mantikaon, katol or panington ang kamot kon pike...

check the quality.. usually bootlegs have creases... mold problem
i have a few originals and more of the better bootlegs so far i've yet to learn more how to distinguish...
