If I buy a light bulb in the US, will it work with our sockets here plugged in 220 volts? I'm setting up a reptile tank and I want to order UV & basking lamps there

Ry, wala man problema kung sa states nimo paliton ang bulb. Just check the voltage kung 220v ba or 110v and everything will be fine.
A, thats what I mean. Akong paliton did2 kay ang fluorescent lamp ra unta then ang balas ug socket diri ra unta nako paliton, so ang bulb kailangan pa diay na cya i check kung 110 or 220?
yes kailangan pa na as any other electrical device bought in the US..
Ok thanks, I have a friend man gud who bought a UV lamp there nya gi tao ra niya sa socket nga 220 niwork dayun.. weird. He bought it from a pet shop ra.
well maybe the lamp's input was 110-220V.. there are a lot of electronic devices now that have such range of electrical input.. ex. cellphone chargers
He just bought a fluorescent lamp (bulb) no housing, iyang gigamit kay housing ra diri. Iya daw gi plug sa 110 wala ni sige, pag plug niya sa 220 ni siga daw. Hadluk man gud ko. He is selling to me one man gud.
same as most appliances. plug a 110v bulb into a 220v socket and you will have a short burst of fireworks followed by the deafening sound of silence... Hehehe... no kidding!
